Fowler in swing of things

Outfielder Dexter Fowler has made some adjustments in his approach to hitting and there were signs of a payoff on Saturday. Fowler, 4-for-21 in his first 13 games this spring, went 3-for-4 with a walk and a hard ground out to third in the Rockies 10-5 loss to Seattle at Hi Corbett Field in Tucson.

“He made some adjustments with his grip,’’ said manager Clint Hurdle. “There’s no more split grip. We know there is more there, and we are excited to see it.”

Good to hear. I can’t wait until he’s manning CF at Coors everyday.
