Six players see action in minor league games

Instead of riding a bus 2 1/2 hours to Surprise, Ariz., for a game against the Rangers, three position players and three pitchers played in minor league games in Tucson.

The results were as follows:

Clint Barmes: 3-for-4, one home run, one RBI, two runs scored
Todd Helton: 2-for-3, one RBI, one run scored
Yorvit Torrealba: 3-for-4, one double, one walk, two RBI, one run scored
Manuel Corpas: One inning pitched, one hit, one run, no earned runs, two strikeouts
Jason Grilli: One inning pitched, two hits, one run, one earned run, two strikeouts
Ryan Speier: One inning pitched, 0 hits, 0 runs, three strikeouts
