Score _ Rockies 10, Diamondbacks 3

Turning point _ Brad Hawpe hit a three-run homer to cap a four-run first against Yusmeiro Petit.

Big day _ Todd Helton went 4-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. He’s hitting .515 (13-for-29) with four homers and 14 RBI this spring and a 1.121 slugging percentage.

Bad day _ The Rockies broke the game open in the sixth and made it 9-2 against Tony Pena, who allowed six hits and four runs in two-thirds of an inning

FYI _ Jason Marquis broke a three-start losing streak and allowed three hits and two runs in five innings with one walk and four strikeouts. Marquis piled up eight ground-ball outs compared to just three on balls hit in the air…Scott Podsednik played the entire game in left field and went 1-for-3 with one RBI, three runs scored and two walks...Matt Belisle, who gave up a walk while working the seventh, has made four straight scoreless outings, covering 4 1/3 innings and has allowed one run in 8 1/3 innings in eight Cactus League games…Huston Street, who gave up a single while working a scoreless ninth, has been scored upon in one of his past eight games…The Rockies played their final spring game of the year at Hi Corbett Field where they went 7-8-1.

    Podsednik had a fairly good day today, but so did just about everybody else. I will be disappointed if they choose to keep Podsednik over Murton, or Fowler for that matter. Nuff said.
