Good road win last night! It’s always nice to see the Rox score runs on the road and especially at Petco. We need one more win tonight to make this a good trip. Winning road trips are always nice even when it is only a 5 gamer!

Good win, nice to watch! I have a question that’s a bit off the beaten track. I noticed there’s been a change in the announcing booth the last couple of games? Not a good or bad thing in my opinion, I like all the announcers we have, but just curious as to why. Any reason?

    Thanks and GO ROCKIES!

For Cook to succeed tonight he has to have the sinker working and keeping the ball down in the zone. He also needs some run support and hopefully Iannetta and Tulo can continue to improve at the plate.

Wait a minute…wasn’t there just a comment about George Frazier here?

  • Tracy Ringolsby said:

TJ, it isn’t really a change. Drew Goodman took a few days off. As has been the case in recent years, when that happens, Jack Corrigan and Jeff Kingery from the radio team fill in on TV doing the play-by-play with Mark Johnson helping on the radio.

  • Derrek said:

Maybe I wasn’t supposed to say anything about Frazier? LOL

    Tracy,
I seem to recall that Cook was “working on things” in spring training like working on other pitches. I can understand a little tinkering but do you think this could have contributed to his “good stuff” like his sinker to not be as good as it should be.

Derrek, I can only apologize. Meant to reply and hit a wrong button. I am computer illiterate. You are welcome to post.

Interesting–3 straight lefties in the order (2. Smith, 3. Helton, 4. Hawpe).

Only lefty in the Pads’ pen: Arturo Lopez, whom the Rockies roughed up during the 4/29 win.
