Now I can hardly stand to listen on the radio! The cringe factor is getty pretty high. Worst of all, we're not playing good teams! They have had some bad records but this is horrible. Atkins shouldn't be on the field. I'm more tired of watching his fielding blunders than his hitting. And his hitting is horrible. That play in the 10 run 7th when there was a hit to center and Spilly throws to Atkins(who was playing first and was the cutoff man)and Atkins lets it go instead of cutting it off. Then the ball hits the mound and bounces right over Torrealba's head and allows the go-ahead run at the time to go to 2nd. Bad break in a way but cut the darn ball off. There was no chance at home and it would've kept the runner at 1st. Not that it mattered cuz they gave up like 6 more runs after that but those are the type of plays he makes on a daily basis it seems like. Sit him down, I don't care what his track record says!
