snel7083, obviously the hand isn’t getting better, which is why he is going to see a hand specialist in the DC area this week. By moving him to the 60-day DL, the Rockies cannot activated him prior to June 27.
We will see what the doctors in DC discover.

    Thanks,

Sorry to hear that, sure like him.

On a side note. I would think the opposing managers would like the upms to NOT call third srikes against Helton, the last two games he has made the opposing pitcher regret the strike outs. HA

I hope De La Rosa has a great game. I have tickets to the game and we are looking forward to seeing another one in person. De La Rosa needs to get his problem with adversity under control, and then, I believe, he will be a solid three in the rotation. His problem is that he seems to let the moment get the best of him; instead of pitching out of adversity, he pitches himself deeper in a hole.

He has terrific stuff. I think he will be a great pitcher if he can just get his temperament under control.

Must win series IMO, if nothing other than to build some confidence coming off the detroit series.
