Rehabbing Rockies

Rockies manager Jim Tracy ran down the rehab plans for injured Rockies prior to Tuesday’s game:

–LHP Franklin Morales worked four innings, throwing 72 pitches, and allowed two runs on five hits and two walks for Triple-A Colorado Springs on Sunday. He will work eight innings or 85 pitches on Friday and is scheduled to throw 100 pitches June 11. After that, he will be re-evaluated and could join the big-league roster on the next homestand.

–RHP Matt Daley struck out the three batters he faced in one inning for Triple-A Colorado Springs on Monday. He threw 15 pitches, 12 for strikes. He will pitch again Wednesday and could rejoin the Rockies Friday in St. Louis.

–C Chris Iannetta was scheduled to play five innings for Triple-A Colorado Springs on Tuesday. He will be available to pinch-hit Wednesday, catch seven innings Thursday, pinch-hit Friday, and catch nine innings both Saturday and Sunday. He will be re-evaluated on Monday and could rejoin the team in Milwaukee on June 9.

–RHP Ryan Speier allowed one run, a home run, in one inning for Triple-A Colorado Springs on Monday. He continues to work on creating a consistent sidearm slot.

–RHP Taylor Buchholz threw in a simulated game on Tuesday. He will be re-evaluated Wednesday.
