He seems to be more relaxed with Torealba catching him. If Torelba can keep DLR pitching at a high level, that's a pretty impressive 5th starter. Phillips had a nice short run with the big club, but there's just nothing in his history that says anything beyond "replacement level.". And Q is barely above that. Neither guy is worth keeping, particularly if it costs us the loss of someone valuable. It'd be great to clear some Yorvit salary, and that's not out of the question. Little trade value, but would probably be picked up on waivers and the Rockies are left eating the contract. Phillips is nice catcher, and ok, but has been a career AAAA player. Baker gives the team more defensive flexibilty and protection for Helton at first in the event Atkins is traded. I say send out Phillips.
