It said he faced 24 batters (10 k's, 7 flyouts, 4 hits, 3 walks). Now assuming he threw 4-5 pitches to each batter, that would put him in the 96-120 pitch range. That said, perhaps management is more concerned with the 4 hits and 3 walks in 5 2/3 innings? It's one thing to give up 7 hits/walks to a team that has maybe 1 or 2 guys that will eventually be big leaguers in A, but that starts getting dicier as you move up levels.
