Giambi, Mora in lineup as Rockies look for sweep

Colorado Rockies first baseman Todd Helton gets this third afternoon off of the early season with the team about to embark on a seven-game road trip and without a day off scheduled until April 29. Jason Giambi, still looking for his first hit of the season, gets the start at first and Melvin Mora starts at second base.

Tracy Ringolsby sends several Rockies updates via Twitter:
– The Rockies will decide Thursday if Carlos Gonzalez will go on the disabled list. Eric Young Jr. and Jonathan Herrera are callup options if he does.
Huston Street beings a throwing program in Tuscon today.
– Taylor Buchholz, Greg Reynolds and Jeff Francis are all scheduled to throw in Tucson this weekend.
