Eric Young Jr. gets his first start for the Colorado Rockies since being recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Sunday. He leads off and plays second base as the Rockies put a very different lineup on the field for the second game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The lineup:

2B Eric Young Jr. (S)
CF Dexter Fowler (S)
1B Todd Helton (L)
SS Troy Tulowitzki (R)
RF Carlos Gonzalez (L)
C Miguel Olivo (R)
3B Ian Stewart (L)
LF Seth Smith (L)
P Ubaldo Jimenez (R)

Would it be so insulting to Todd if he hit 5th? Cargo should be in the number three spot. Just my opinion.

Absolutely not, I think CarGo will end up being 3rd in the line-up…

I take it all back – Cargo at the dish with runners on base is awesome!

Yep – Todd snd CarGo should flip spots here:

    1. Young (S)
    2. Fowler (S)
    3. CarGo (L)
    4. Tulo (R)
    5. Helton (L)
    6. Olivo (R)
    7. Stewart (L)
    8. S Smith (L)

Still too left handed for me, but you could plug in Spilborghs and/or Mora against the opponents tough lefty starters. Otherwise just go with it – alot of youth (other than Helton) and a ton of speed.

With 3/5 of the projected starting rotation now on the DL (Francis, de la Rosa, and Hammel) – is it about time to hit the panic button. This SF Giants weekend series could be a disaster waiting to happen. However, it still would be really nice to get out of April with a plus 500 record.
