After hearing all of the talk of excitement at the new Salt River Fields, I have to say I am disappointed after spending a week in Scottsdale. The fan access to players was incredible in Tucson. The players parked with the public, autographs and pictures were easy to get on the back practice fields. At the new park, players park in a gated area, which I get, but the practice fields have tall fences that the players can use to avoid fans, and they practice the majority of the time …
