March 27, 2011 | 12:15 pm | 3

Well it sounds like the Rockies are going to start with only the seven relievers and use players options and send Daley, Reynolds and Brothers down.  Brothers has had a great camp and while I think he will be up with the team sooner than later, I was a bit surprised he wasn’t kept on as the 8th man.  I am still not sold on Morales and I think Brothers could have helped as the 8th man even over Daley for now.  I have nothing against Daley and I hope …

Bad habits that I do not want repeated this year

March 25, 2011 | 4:33 pm | 24

We all have seen some bad habits that gets under your skin when it’s repeated on a regular basis;  my list of bad habits I don’t want to see this year too often.  Add to this list if you can think of more.
Fowler striking out to start the game.
Rox hit the starting pitcher hard and often;  then the bullpen comes in and we put our bats away for the rest of the game.
Barmes swinging at big sliders in dirt and balls two feet outside of the plate.  Nice to see …
