Center fielder Joe Mather was 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs. First baseman was 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI. Starting pitcher Billy Buckner allowed two runs (one earned) in five innings.
Double-A Tulsa (W, 5-1 at NW Arkansas, box)
Left fielder Brian Rike was 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and four RBI. Designated hitter Mike Zuanich was 3-for-3 with a solo home run and three runs. Starting pitcher Joey Williamson allowed one hit, walked no one and struck out five in four scoreless innings. Reliever Dustin Molleken also allowed one hit, walked one and struck out three in four scoreless innings.
High Class-A Modesto (W, 5-1 vs. Bakersfield, box)
Shortstop Josh Rutledge extended his hitting streak to 21 games with a single. He also stole a base and scored. Second baseman Angelys Nina was 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs. Starting pitcher Alan DeRatt allowed one run in seven innings.

Starting pitcher allowed one run on four hits, walked three and struck out four in six innings. Shortstop Cristhian Adames was 1-for-4 with a solo home run.
Short-Season Class-A Tri-City (W, 6-0 vs. Vancouver, box)
Starting pitcher Christian Bergman, a 24th-round pick by the Rockies in 2010, pitched a four-hit shutout, walking no one and striking out six. In his previous start, Bergman pitched seven scoreless innings on four hits and walked only one. Shortstop Timothy Smalling was 3-for-4 with a run and a stolen base. Third baseman Jayson Langfels was 1-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and a run.
