Rockies lose in 11th when Kemp homers off Hammel
The Colorado Rockies blew a four-run lead, went ahead in the seventh but suffered another bitter loss when Matt Kemp hit a walk-off homer in the 11th inning againstto give the Los Angeles Dodgers a 7-6 win.

Hammel, the Rockies sixth pitcher, got out of trouble in the 10th when he walked two and loaded the bases with two out but struck out Aaron Miles. Hammel surrendered Kemp’s 31st homer on an 0-2 pitch, which gave Kemp his 100th RBI of the season.

Iannetta’s error came on a ball hit by Kemp, the first batterfaced in relief of Millwood. Juan Rivera followed with a single to right, and Kouzmanoff made his error on that play. Rivera took second on the throw, and after Andre Ethier was intentionally walked, Casey Blake doubled home two runs. He took third on a throw home by shortstop Tulowitzki that nailed Ethier at the plate. Belisle then hit A.J. Ellis with a pitch and gave up a run-scoring single to Jamey Carroll.
_ Betancourt had not allowed a home run since Dan Uggla of the Braves hit a two-run shot off him July 6. Loney’s homer was the seventh off Betancourt, who had allowed one unearned run in 20 games and 17 2/3 innings dating from July 6. The blown save was Betancourt’s fourth this season and first since May 20 at Milwaukee.
_ Gonzalez raised his average to .295, the highest it has been since April 11 when he was hitting .306 (11-for-36). Gonzalez came off the disabled list Aug. 6 and has 30 RBI this month.
_ Tulowitzki, who went 3-for-4, had his first multi-homer game of the season and now has 28 homers and 93 RBI. His career-bests are 32 homers in 2009 and 95 RBI last year.
_ Hammel has allowed 19 home runs in 149 1/3 innings.
_ Loney has hit six of his 14 homers this season against the Rockies and 14 of his 44 RBI are against them.
