RHP: Billy Buckner (AAA), Matt Daley (AAA), Alan Johnson (AAA), Blake Johnson (AAA), Andrew Johnston (AAA), John Maine (AAA), Sean White (AAA)
LHP: Eric Stults (AAA), Joe Torres (AAA)
C: Jose Gonzalez (Hi A), Jose Morales (AAA)
1B: Jorge Cantu (AAA), Mike Paulk (AAA)
2B: Hernan Iribarren (AAA), Max Leon (Short Season, on loan to Mexico)
3B: Matt Macri (AAA)
SS: Jesus Merchan (AAA)
OF: Scott Beerer (AAA), Joe Mather (AAA), Leonardo Reyes (SS), Orlando Sandoval (Hi A), Bronson Sardinha (AA), Willy Taveras (AAA)
Daley (7 games), Alan Johnson (1), Stults (6) and Morales (22) played for the Rockies in 2011.
Dustin Molleken (2010/11 offseason), Josh Sullivan, Carlos Martinez, Leuris Gomez and Kyle Hancock (2005 signees) did not declare.
Jack, any idea if these players have re-signed with the team or if they were granted extra contract renewals for some reason?
Whats interesting about these guys is that none of them can play.
I could see several of these guys potentially having a role with the Rockies depending on what happens to guys ahead of them on the depth chart: Daley, Beerer, and Morales.
