Rockies send Turpen to Twins to complete Slowey trade
The Colorado Rockies have sent right-handed pitcher Daniel Turpen to the Minnesota Twins to complete the trade for Kevin Slowey.
Turpen was acquired by the Rockies in March for catcher Mike McKenry. He was 2-4 with a 4.83 ERA in 48 appearances for Double-A Tulsa.

Everyone can now exhale. Parker Frazier remains a Rockie. All is well.
So far this is O’Dowd’s biggest coup of the offseason: he turned a AAA catcher/pure MLB backup (McKenry) into a solid 5th starter (Slowey). Of course, it took 8 months to do it. But such tiny successes are all we have to hang our hats on.
Curt. Your not so smart after all just a. Smart A
Sorry. Just a. Fan of underdogs that aren’t high draft picks that have to out work number one picks just to get a look. Go Rox
