Rockies reinstate five players from 60-day DL

Outfielders Charlie Blackmon and Ryan Spilborghs, infielder Jonathan Herrera and pitchers Jorge De La Rosa and Juan Nicasio have been added to the Colorado Rockies 40-man roster, which now has 37 players.

Millwood will be Rockies’ 10th starter

When he makes his Colorado Rockies debut on Wednesday, Kevin Millwood will be the 10th pitcher to start for the Rockies this season. The others are Jhoulys Chacin and Jason Hammel (23 starts each), Ubaldo Jimenez (21), Juan Nicasio (13), Aaron Cook (11), Jorge De La Rosa (10), Esmil Rogers and Clayton Mortensen (6 each), Greg Reynolds (3) and Alan Johnson (1). Millwood will be making his first appearance in the majors since his final start with the Orioles on Sept. 29, 2010, at Tampa Bay.
