The Pittsburgh Pirates have claimed catcher Matt Pagnozzi off waivers from the Colorado Rockies. The Rockies had designated Pagnozzi for assignment Sunday when the team added pitcher Drew Pomeranz and infielder Thomas Field to the roster.
