Tulsa starter Christian Friedrich rebounded from a pair of rough starts and took a no-hitter one out into the sixth inning. Friedrich allowed just one hit and four walks and struck out seven in six shutout innings. He was not involved in the decision as the Drillers’ bullpen allowed three runs.

Second-round pick Carl Thomore was among 11 signings announced by the Colorado Rockies on Thursday. Thomore was a high school outfielder from East Brunswick High School in New Jersey. Baseball America reports the Rockies have also agreed to terms with supplemental first-round pick Trevor Story.
The Colorado Rockies selected high school infielder Trevor Story with the 45th overall pick in the supplemental first round of Monday’s draft. Story, a shortstop from from Irving High School in Irving, Texas, was rated as the 40th-best prospect in the draft by Baseball America.
